the star fans Nicholas Cage can be very excited to see your next film, the metalinguistic ‘The Weight of Talent‘ (The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent). But the actor does not share the same enthusiasm and revealed to the magazine THAT ONE who will not see the production.
According to him, watching him on screen playing an exaggerated version of himself would be too complicated a mind trip.
“Let me just say that in ‘The Weight of Talent‘ I’m delivering Tom Gormican’s version of the so-called ‘Nick Cage’, which is a very neurotic and highly anxious version of Nic Cage that he insisted I do. So I want to put on record that I will not personally attend the screening of the film because this is a very complicated mental journey for me.”
But regardless, Cage encouraged his fans to watch the film on the big screen:
“I’ve been told it’s a good movie and that people really enjoy the trip, and I know the studio is very excited about it. I made the film for the public. I am hopeful that they will have fun with the result.”
A Paris Films will release the film in national cinemas in April 28th.
