‘Morbius‘ is already in theaters and, even though it has been heavily criticized by critics, it has pleased many fans and the public has been showing up in weight in the theaters. However, those who saw the last trailer noticed that something in particular is not present in the film, precisely the part where we see Morbius passing in front of a poster of the Spider man from Tobey Maguire.
This week, the director daniel espinosa surprised when, in an interview he gave to the CinemaBlendconfessed to not being aware of the scene in question, as, according to him, the image was inserted into the trailer by Sony without his consent, so the scene in question is not in the film.
Check out Espinosa’s statement when asked about the scene not being in the film:
“This image is only in the trailer. So for me, as a director, I just did the movie. I, as a fan, have several opinions on this. But, as I didn’t put it in the movie or even in the trailer, if I say anything it’s just as a fan. But because he was the director, he would be accused of knowing something more. I really have no idea, you know? If I knew, I could tell you. It’s not my idea, you know? I would love to be honest and responsible about it, but I can’t because it’s not my thing.”
Don’t cut end of ‘Morbius‘ it is not possible to see such art of Spider man from Tobey Maguire, however the director revealed that there is a version of the hero in his universe. So let’s wait for all this confusion to unfold and see what Sony’s real intention is.
