The actor James Marsdenwho gave life to Scott Summers, the Cyclops of the Universe X-Men at Fox, compared his experience working on the franchise Sonic with the time when he was one of the stars of the mutant group commanded by Professor Xavier.
After the huge success at the worldwide box office with ‘Sonic: The Movie‘, Paramount rushed to make a sequel soon, and even before the premiere of ‘Sonic 2: The Movie‘, has already ordered the third installment of the franchise.
And even though the younger folks meet today James Marsden for his work in the movie The Blue Hedgehog, the actor became known precisely for his passage in the original trilogy of the Children of the Atom, for giving life to a Cyclops different from the one seen in the comics. Marsden then did not miss the chance to draw a parallel between the universe of Sonic and two X-Men.
“The fastest yes I’ve ever said yes to a role was probably with this second Sonic movie, because he ticks all the boxes, right? X-Men was a big thing, it was a superhero movie and I obviously wanted to go back to the sequels to fulfill that childhood dream of being a superhero. And here in Sonic it’s also a little bit of that, there’s something I can enjoy with my 9 year old son. It’s a great family movie, but also super exciting. If I could do this for the rest of my life, I would.”confessed James Marsden.
‘Sonic‘ – the continuation of the success of 2020 finally arrived in Brazilian exhibition halls, for the amusement of gamers. Check out the trailer:
