Halle Berry is known for a variety of film roles – and one of her projects includes the thriller ‘Emergency call’which likely passed off the public’s radar.
Launched in 2013 and directed by Brad Anderson, the feature film follows an emergency service telephone attendant (Berry) who is traumatized after witnessing the tragic outcome of one of the calls she received. Stepping away from work, she resolves to teach others that work isn’t easy – but a connection connected to the case at hand throws her back into this dangerous world.
Despite mixed reviews, Berry was praised for her performancewhile the film grossed modest $68 million worldwide. However, with the availability of the title on Netflix in the United States, ‘Emergency call’ got to the top of ranking of the most watched on the platform – which caught the attention of the actress herself.
On his official Twitter account, Berry posted about the sudden and late success of the production with a hilarious response.
“Then… ‘Emergency call’ is Netflix’s #1 movie now, nearly ten years after its release. Are you okay?”she wrote.
