The writing duo Paul Wernick e Rhett Reese are back to ‘Deadpool 3‘, this time under the baton of Walt Disney Studios. However, even though it is a company known for its family brand, it seems that no infamous jokes have been censored.
Since the merger between Walt Disney Company e 20th Century FOXfinally becoming public, different executives and Kevin Feige himself assured that ‘Deapool‘ would go on going strong.
“Don’t worry. The studio has been very supportive about it. Now, when it comes to a particular joke, if we cross a line, maybe we can hear at some point, ‘Maybe not this joke.’ But I think they’ve been incredibly supportive of what we’re doing, because obviously we’ve been working on this apart (from Disney) for a long time. So we definitely have the support, and that’s important.”diz Wernick.
With Reese speaking: “It’s exciting to have the band back, to have a new setting in the Marvel Cinematic Universe with new characters, villains, that sort of thing.”.
It is worth remembering that this is a new collaboration between Ryan Reynolds and the director Shawn Levyafter ‘Free Guy: Taking Control‘ e ‘The Adam Project‘. Rhett Reese e Paul Wernick will return as writers, after stepping aside early in development, still under the management of 20th Century FOX.
‘Deadpool 3‘ has no set release date, but will make it the first film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe with an R (+18) rating.
